Public Issues

    In 2010 NJWC launched "Operation Warm a Veteran" with the mission to make 100 fleece blankets for the homeless veteran shelter in Worcester.  On December 9, 2010, thanks to the help and generosity of the Northboro Community,  95 blankets were delivered to these veterans.  
    With additional funds that were raised, in 2011 we will continue this project by providing blankets to homeless female veterans and to a new veterans shelter in Shrewsbury.
