Flag Collection
Did you know that flags which are torn, ripped, stained or worn should be disposed of by burning in a special ceremony?
The Northboro Junior Woman's Club will be collecting unserviceable flags and bringing them to the American Legion Picard Post 234 for proper disposal. Flag collection boxes will be placed at the library, the post office and town hall.
Cell Phones for Soldiers
Mission: Help Our Troops Call Home
The Northboro Junior Woman's Club is participating in Cell Phones for Soldiers, a non-profit organization that recycles cell phones. The money raised is used to buy phone cards that are distributed to overseas troops so they can stay in contact with their family and friends. Please participate by bringing your used cell phones to any AT&T store or use the link below to get a postage-paid envelope that can be used to mail your phone.
Phones can be in any condition and do not need to have batteries.
