Greenlight A Vet Campaign
Throughout the month of November, NJWC club members will be showing their support for our nation's veterans by changing one outdoor light to green.
The Greenlight A Vet is a national campaign that encourages citizens to show visible support for veterans. Green lights will be shining during November or throughout the end of the year as a way to show our appreciation for those who have served.

Appreciating our Fire and Police Departments
These are gift baskets we presented to our local fire and police departments to show our appreciation.
Pinwheels for Prevention
In April, NJWC club members planted over 450 pinwheels in front of Town Hall to commemorate National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Prevent Child Abuse America is the leading national organization that works solely to prevent the abuse and neglect of our nation's children.
”Pinwheels for Prevention” was launched by Prevent Child Abuse America to raise funds through the sale of pinwheels to educate people about the effects of child abuse and ways to prevent it. The hope is to engage all people in our society to act to prevent abuse and neglect from happening. Pinwheels represent hope, a call to action, and the bright and healthy future we want for all children. |
